Holidays in the Hidden Corners of Spain 2010
These holidays are designed to include some of Spain’s most beautiful and lesser known landscapes. This is "Real Spain" at its best. There will be no pressure, no early morning starts, and no compulsory sight seeing. Most Paradores are less than one hundred miles apart, but on the occasional day when a longer journey is necessary we will follow the advice of the AA which is to have a break every 2 hours or every hundred miles, so there will be no exhausting long journeys.
We aim to make the travelling a pleasure and organise lunch breaks in interesting places. The coach will be there to transport you from Parador to Parador, and will be on hand for optional excursions to places of interest. For the energetic there are spectacular walking routes, for the culturally inclined there will be visits to archeological sites and museums, and for nature lovers we include Nature Reserves and National Parks.

| SHORT BREAK AT THE PARADOR AT AIGUABLAVA IN APRIL - JUST RELEASED!! This is a chance to experience our "Escorted Holidays in the Hidden Corners of Real Spain" on a 4-day holiday at the beautiful Parador at AIGUABLAVA on the Catalonian coast at a very special price which has been offered to us by the Parador. It is designed to be a relaxing break in one of the most spectacular Paradores siuated on a headland overlooking a small cove in one of the most unspoilt corners of the Costa Brava. As it is 5 Km from Begur, the nearest village, it is not a suitable Parador for anyone not wishing to drive, so this will give an opportunity for these people to experience this idyllic setting as all transport, excursions etc are included in the price. |

Friday 23rd April: Evening flight from Dublin to Girona where you will be met and taken to the Parador at AIGUABLAVA. As it is a late arrival instead of dinner there will be a welcome drink and tapas buffetr at the Parador. |
Tuesday 27th April: Morning in the Parador. Farewell drink and snack in the bar before leaving. There will be a stop at the pottery town of la Bisbal en-route to Girona. Time in Girona to visit the Cathedral, old town and tapas bars befiore going to the airport for the evening flight to Dublin. Flights must be booked individually as prices change frequently, but are very reasonable at the moment. MAP Travel can book flights if you wish.
